Bedrooms

We offer three spacious bedrooms to guests, accommodating a maximum of 6 persons, within the centrally heated and cooled home. Each bedroom is furnished with a high walled king size double bed - which can be split to twin king size singles if required. Fine linens, doonas and warm blankets are provided throughout, along with split control electric blankets. All have a large private "period" style en-suite with modern plumbing and comprise of shower, toilet and vanities with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

The "East" and "West" bedrooms are within the original structure of the homestead. Both bedrooms feature high 13"6' original timber-lined ceilings, dado timber lined walls, central heating and cooling and are finished in rich tones and carpets reminiscent of the region's red wine varietals and vines. They also feature the old fireplaces (no longer functional).

The "Green" bedroom is a newer addition, in keeping with the home, and is finished in tones reflective of vineyards in spring growth. It has its own reverse cycle heating/cooling system and the larger bathroom comes complete with large corner bath (not a spa!!)

Relaxing Accommodation

Guests may choose to relax in the large communal lounge room containing TV, video, radio and music and gas log fire for those winter days or retire to a smaller sitting/reading room and library. Outside, enjoy a glass of Rutherglen Region wine on the surrounding bull-nosed verandah or seek a shady spot in the gardens. Partake of a hearty and filling cooked country breakfast served in the relaxed dining room, or weather permitting, served on the covered verandah.
